“Leadership in the Age of Algorithms and AI: A Call for a Resilient Consecrated Life.”

Fr Olvin Veigas, SJ conducted a half-day seminar-cum-workshop for 36 animators of the Sisters of St Joseph of Tarbes (SJT) in Bengaluru. The programme focused on the timely theme, “Leadership in the Age of Algorithms and AI: A Call for a Resilient Consecrated Life.”

In his engaging sessions, Fr Olvin reflected on the challenges and opportunities presented by artificial intelligence and rapidly evolving technologies for leadership and consecrated life. He invited the participants to develop resilient, discerning and compassionate leadership that remains deeply rooted in human and Gospel values.

The workshop also addressed the pressing need for effective conflict resolution and the importance of building communities of reconciliation and resilience. Through reflection and interaction, the participants explored ways of fostering understanding, dialogue, mutual respect and harmonious community living.

The seminar provided a meaningful opportunity for the animators to renew their vision of leadership and respond creatively and courageously to the challenges of the contemporary world. The event took place on 23 August 2026 at the HQ of SJT, Bangalore.
