to “Tasty Food Factory, Chikkamagaluru”, for 50 students of I BBA, accompanied by three
faculty members: Ms Meghana HM, Ms Vidayashree DM and Mr Keerthi NR.

Chamundeshwari Sugar Factory Pvt. Ltd., Channarayapatna Taluk, Hassan District, for 90
students of I B.Com A and I B.Com B, accompanied by three faculty members: Mr. Range
Gowda, Ms. Veronica P and Mr Mohan A.

The Department of Commerce at St. Joseph’s College, Hassan, organized an industrial visit
to the Wonderla Wastewater Treatment Plant, Bengaluru, followed by a recreational trip to
Wonderla Park. A total of 48 second-year B.Com students participated in the programme,
held under the theme “Learning with Recreation.”

The students of St Joseph’s College, Hassan, pursuing BCA II and BCA III, went on an
industrial visit to Mysore on 17th October. The visit offered an enriching learning
experience at the MYRA School of Business, where students attended insightful sessions on
Cybersecurity.
During the sessions, the students gained hands-on experience working with GRS and
related software tools, enhancing their practical understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
The interactive learning environment allowed them to explore real-world applications of data
protection and network security.
The college organises a day's visit to various Industries for all the students. All the students are expected to visit at least once a year.
The Industrial visits enables the students to integrate subject knowledge with real- life experience.
