St Joseph’s College Annual Day Celebrated with Grandeur and Enthusiasm

The Annual Day celebration of St Joseph’s College, Hassan, was marked by joy, talent, and a spirit of togetherness. The vibrant day of festivities became a memorable occasion with the gracious presence of Chief Guest Mr. Bharath BS, Founder of Bharath’s PU Academy, Hassan, and Rev. Fr. Leo Pereira SJ, Superior of St Joseph’s Institutions, Hassan.

The program showcased the remarkable talents of students through cultural performances, music, dance, and various artistic presentations. The dignitaries inspired the gathering with their encouraging words, appreciating the achievements and efforts of the students and faculty. The Principal, Fr Dr Maxim Dias SJ, read out the annual report emphasizing how the College has strived to bring best of the students in all facets of college life including academic rigour, social concern, capacity building programmes, spiritual development, physical growth through sports, internship, placement related activities, social and cultural activities, etc.

The celebration reflected the vibrant spirit of the college community and created unforgettable memories filled with inspiration, unity, and celebration. The students who participated and won medals in sports tournaments at the Hassan University level as well as other sports events, students who excelled in Hassan University Semester exams as well the student council members were facilitated with cash prizes, mementos and certificates. Meanwhile, Fr Rayan Pereira SJ, until now the Finance Officer and Assistant Professor of Mathematics was given a warm farewell.
