Annual Interaction with the Provincial of Karnataka Jesuits at SJC Hassan

St Joseph’s College, Hassan, had the privilege of welcoming Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ, Provincial of the Jesuits in Karnataka, and President of Hassan Jesuit Educational Society for his annual meeting with the faculty and administrative staff.

During the interaction, Fr Vaz emphasized the important role of SJC Hassan in the broader Jesuit mission of education and service, highlighting the contribution of its stakeholders, especially the teaching faculty, in shaping students with competence, conscience, and compassion.

The session included an open question-and-answer forum, where faculty and staff freely shared their concerns and ideas. Fr Vaz responded with insight and encouragement, reaffirming the collective responsibility of the institution in furthering the Jesuit vision.

The annual meeting was an occasion of inspiration, dialogue, and renewed commitment to the values that guide the mission of St Joseph’s College, Hassan.
