Beyond the Classroom: St. Joseph’s College Reaches Out to Gandsi

The Commerce Excellence Club, Department of Commerce, St. Joseph’s College, Hassan, organised a Rural Outreach Programme for the students of Government First Grade College, Gandsi. A total of 59 students accompanied by two faculty members participated enthusiastically in the programme.

The programme featured ice-breakers, team-building activities, creative games, puzzles, fun activities, and Pick and Speak, fostering teamwork, communication, leadership, creativity, confidence and decision-making skills.

A motivational talk by Rev. Fr. Olvin Veigas encouraged students to cultivate a positive attitude, discipline, confidence and a goal-oriented approach to life and academics. The programme concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners.

Mr Arjun HOD Commerce Department organized the event with the support of SJC students. The event took place on 01 October 2026.
