Campus Placement Drive by Akshara Enterprises, Bengaluru

Akshara Enterprises, based in Bengaluru, conducted a campus placement drive at St Joseph’s College, Hassan, offering employment opportunities for the positions of Business Development Executive and Marketing Executive. A total of 22 students from BBA, BCom and BCA participated in the recruitment process, which was held in the College Board Room. 12 students were selected for further interviews in Bengaluru.

The selection process began with an introductory session by Mr. Subramanya, General Manager of Akshara Enterprises, who briefed the students about the company, its operations, and the job roles and responsibilities associated with the positions. This was followed by personal interviews to assess the candidates' suitability for the respective roles.

The initiative provided students with an opportunity to interact with industry representatives and explore career prospects in the fields of business development and marketing. The placement drive took place on 23 May 2026. It was coordinated by Fr Olvin Veigas, SJ and Ms Tasmiya Sultana of the Placement Department at SJC Hassan.
