Expert Talk on “MBA – Why, Where, What & How” Guides SJC Students Towards Higher Studies

The SJC Centre of Excellence along with Department of Commerce & Management, St. Joseph’s College, Hassan, organized an insightful online expert talk on “MBA – Why, Where, What & How” for the BBA and B.Com degree students.

The session was delivered by Dr. Sarin Raju, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal. In his engaging presentation, Dr. Raju clearly explained the importance of pursuing an MBA in today’s competitive business environment. He elaborated on why students should consider an MBA, what specializations are available, where to pursue quality management education, and how to effectively prepare for entrance examinations and admissions.

The talk provided practical clarity and strategic direction to students who are planning their higher studies. The interactive session also allowed students to clarify their doubts regarding career prospects, institutional choices, and skill preparation. The programme proved to be highly beneficial and inspiring for all participants.

Fr Olvin Veigas, SJ, the coordinator of the event welcomed and briefed about Dr Sarin Raju’s brilliant work in the field of Game Theory, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics. Mr Pradeep Kumar, VP of SJC, emphasized the need for concerted efforts from students to reach higher goals. The expert talk was held on 17 February 2026 via Zoom link on a newly installed interactive smart board in the AV Room.
