Journey to Kuppalli: Honouring the Legacy of Kuvempu

The Kannada Sangha of St Joseph’s College, Hassan, led by Mr. Rangegowda D.B, organized an enriching cultural visit for 25 students to Kuppalli, the birthplace of Rashtra Kavi Kuvempu.

The visit to Kuvempu’s memorial home offered students a unique opportunity to engage with the poet’s profound Vishwamanava (Universal Human) philosophy and his contributions to Kannada literature. Through this experience, students deepened their understanding of Karnataka’s rich literary legacy and humanistic ideals.

The trip echoed the Kannada Sangha’s mission to foster cultural pride, literary appreciation, and values of inclusivity and universality among the youth.
