A New Beginning with Purpose - Inspiring Orientation Programme for Freshers at SJC Hassan

St Joseph's College, Hassan organized an intensive Orientation Programme for the newly admitted BBA, B.Com, and BCA students, equipping them to begin their academic journey with confidence, enthusiasm, and purpose. The programme introduced students to the Jesuit vision of education, mentoring and student support, academic expectations, campus life, career guidance and placement opportunities, sports and scholarships, theatre and film, Red Cross, college events and feast days, clubs and associations, cultural activities, NSS, AICUF, and the rules and regulations of the institution. The sessions also featured inspiring addresses Bro Rudolf D’Souza SJ and Ms Jessica, encouraging students to embrace holistic learning and personal growth.

The orientation served as a meaningful platform for the freshers to familiarize themselves with the values and vibrant learning environment of St Joseph's College, motivating them to make the most of the opportunities that await them in the new academic year. The event took place on 16-18 July 2026.It was co-ordinated by Mr Anil MS, Ms Veena and Ms Vidyashree, the faculty members of SJC, Hassan.
