Experts Speak at SJC, Hassan: Exploring Opportunities in Finance and Banking

The Department of Business Studies and Commerce at St Joseph’s College, Hassan successfully hosted “Careers Unplugged: Inside the World of Finance and Banking”, a dynamic session that connected students with inspiring professionals from the banking and finance sector.

The industry experts included Mr. Roshan Pereira (Chief Manager, Federal Bank Mysuru), Ms. Olivia D'Souza (Sr. Manager, Federal Bank, Mysuru), Mr. Wilson Pereira (Finance Architect, Akkodis, Bengaluru ), and Ms. Sherol Misquith (Manager, KPMG).

Through engaging talks and lively interactions, students gained deep insights into real-world career paths, industry expectations, and emerging opportunities in the financial world. The event fostered a spirit of learning, curiosity, and motivation—empowering participants to approach their career aspirations with renewed confidence and clarity. The event took place on February 28, 2026. It was coordinated by Fr Rayan Pereira SJ, faculty and Finance Officer at SJC Hassan.
