SJ Titans Crowned Champions of SJPL Cricket Tournament 2026 at St Joseph’s College

The Department of Physical Education in association with the Sports Committee of St Joseph’s College successfully organized the SJPL Cricket Tournament 2026 on 08 and 09 May 2026 at the college cricket ground. The two-day institutional sports event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing various departments and teams.

The tournament was inaugurated by Finance Officer Fr. Arvind Royce. Principal Fr. Maxim Dias SJ, and Vice Principal Pradeepkumar addressed the gathering, and highlighted the importance of sports in promoting discipline, leadership, teamwork, unity, and overall personality development among students.

A total of eight teams competed in the tournament through league and knockout matches conducted according to standard cricket rules and regulations. The Department of Physical Education and organizing committee ensured the smooth conduct of fixtures, umpiring, scoring, and overall ground management throughout the event.

After exciting and competitive matches, SJ Titans emerged as the champions of the SJPL Cricket Tournament 2026, while Team Warriors secured the Runner-Up position. The tournament concluded with a prize distribution ceremony appreciating the efforts of players, organizers, coordinators, and volunteers who contributed to the success of the event.
