SJPL Season-4: A Grand Celebration of Talent and Team Spirit

The Department of Physical Education at St. Joseph’s College, Hassan, successfully hosted the St. Joseph’s Premier League (SJPL Season-4). The much-awaited cricketing event brought together over 90 enthusiastic players competing across six spirited franchises—SJ Titans, Young Bulls, SJ Strikers, SJ Hunters, SJ Lions, and SJ Thunderbolts.

The event turned the campus into a vibrant hub of energy and excitement, promoting values of sportsmanship, strategy, and camaraderie. After a series of thrilling matches, the final showdown saw SJ Lions claim the championship title, overcoming SJ Titans with impressive teamwork and determination. The SJ Titans, who played remarkably throughout the tournament, emerged as the runners-up.

SJPL Season-4 not only showcased sporting excellence but also fostered unity, leadership, and resilience among the students—true to the Josephite spirit.

The event took place on May 9-10, 2025 in the college grounds.
