Say No to Drugs: Mime Performance and Inauguration of ECO and CSA Clubs

24 October 2026

St. Joseph’s College, Hassan, organized an awareness programme featuring a mime performance on “Say No to Drugs,” followed by the inauguration of the ECO and CSA Clubs and the Eco Club Pledging Ceremony. The programme was graced by the Principal Fr. Maxim Dias SJ, the Vice-Principal, and the club coordinators.

The mime performance effectively highlighted the harmful effects of drug abuse on individuals, families, and society, encouraging students to resist peer pressure and adopt a healthy lifestyle. The inauguration of the ECO and CSA Clubs marked an important step towards promoting student participation, leadership, teamwork, and social responsibility.

The Eco Club Pledging Ceremony further inspired students to protect nature, conserve natural resources, reduce waste, and maintain a clean and green environment. The programme reinforced the college’s commitment to nurturing responsible, socially conscious, and environmentally aware citizens.

The event was coordinated by Ms Meghana HM Faculty member with student leaders. The event took place on 17 October 2026.
