St Joseph’s College Conducts Intensive Spoken English Course for Freshers

St Joseph’s College, Hassan, successfully organized a ten-day Spoken English Course for the newly admitted students of the academic year 2026–27. The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 40 students and was designed to enhance their English communication skills and overall personality development.

The course covered key areas such as English Grammar, Functional English, Communicative English, Leadership, and Personality Development. Through interactive sessions and practical activities, students were encouraged to speak English confidently and accurately, helping them develop courage, self-confidence, and effective communication skills.

As part of the learning experience, participants also enjoyed an educational and recreational visit to Bikkodu, Sakleshpur, providing opportunities for experiential learning and team building.

The successful conduct of the programme was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the faculty members of the English Department—Mr. Anil M.S., Ms. Vidya Shree, and Fr. Aravind Royce SJ—along with the valuable support of AICUF student volunteers. The course was held on the college campus from 18 to 29 May 2026.
