Student Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2025: Celebrating Innovation and Young Entrepreneurs at SJC Hassan!

The Department of Management, St Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Hassan, through its Entrepreneurship Development Club, organized the much-awaited Student Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2025 — a platform designed to identify and celebrate young entrepreneurial minds filled with creativity, confidence, and business acumen.

The event unfolded in three exciting and challenging rounds — an Aptitude Test, Business Pitch, and the grand Shark Tank round — each testing the participants’ strategic thinking, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

A total of 21 teams took part in the first round, out of which 8 teams advanced to the second round and 6 finalists competed in the final Shark Tank round, impressing the judges with their innovative business ideas and entrepreneurial spirit.

After a thrilling contest, the winners were announced:

First Prize: Yogita, Yogashree & Milana — I BCA, B
Second Prize: Adishwar, Rifa & Ananya — III BBA

The winners received cash award, memento and a certificate. The event successfully ignited the entrepreneurial spark among students, encouraging them to think creatively and embrace innovation as a pathway to future success. The faculty members Ms Tasmiya Sultana and Mr Anil BK along with students of Entrepreneurship Development Club worked together for the success of the event. The event took place on 13-15 October 2025.
