Golden Glory for SJC Hassan: Thejesh K.S Wins Gold with New Record at Indo-Nepal International Athletics Series

St. Joseph’s College, Hassan, takes immense pride in celebrating the outstanding achievement of Mr. Thejesh K.S, a 1st Year BBA student, who has brought laurels to the institution on an international stage.

Thejesh clinched the Gold Medal in the 800 meters event at the Youth Games Indo-Nepal International Athletics Series, held in Pokhara, Nepal, on 28th March 2026. Demonstrating exceptional endurance and determination, he completed the race with an impressive timing of 1:59 seconds, setting a new Nepal record in the event.

In recognition of his remarkable performance, Thejesh has now been selected for the upcoming World Youth Games, marking yet another significant milestone in his athletic journey.
