Unlocking Futures: Guest Talk on Government Service Careers at St Joseph’s College, Hassan

St Joseph’s College, Hassan, through its Student Council, successfully organized an insightful guest talk titled “Unlock Your Future in Government Service.” The session aimed to create awareness among students about the vast opportunities in government careers and to guide them in preparing effectively for competitive examinations such as UPSC, KPSC, PSI, PDO, FDA, PC, SDA, and VA.

The programme featured two distinguished resource persons—Shri Thirthahalli Keshavamurthy, Director of Malnad Coaching Centre, Bangalore, and Shri Manjunath Badagi, Director of Active Coaching Centre, Bangalore. Both speakers shared valuable insights on exam strategies, disciplined preparation, time management, and the mindset required to succeed in competitive examinations.

The session emphasized the importance of early preparation, consistency, and clarity of goals. Students were encouraged to view government service not merely as a career option but as a platform for meaningful contribution to society. The interactive nature of the session allowed students to clarify their doubts and gain practical direction for their preparation journey.

The programme was held on 13 April 2026 at Loyola Auditorium of the College. The student council and its governor Mr Anil MS coordinated the event.
