Faculty Development Programme Empowers Teachers at St Joseph's College, Hassan

St Joseph's College, Hassan, organized a day-long Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on 13 July 2026 for its teaching staff. The programme, titled "Teachers as Educators, Mentors and Life-Long Learners," was facilitated by Fr. Edward Rodrigues, a renowned educationist and counsellor.

Drawing from over 30 years of teaching and administrative experience in Jesuit institutions across Karnataka, Fr. Edward inspired the faculty with practical insights on the evolving role of teachers as educators, mentors, and continuous learners. His engaging sessions emphasized professional growth, student-centered education, and the importance of lifelong learning in shaping future generations.

The first day of the FDP was highly interactive and well appreciated by all the participants, marking a meaningful beginning to a journey of continuous learning and academic excellence for the faculty members.
