REPORT ON FDP


The COVID-19 pandemic has transformed markets around the world. Naturally, changing market dynamics are driving shifts in the marketing function. Though many of the shifts unfolding in marketing had already begun before COVID-19 emerged, the pandemic has accelerated those trends, and in many cases, left its own unique imprint. So it's very important that teachers are aware of these changes and rethink marketing in the new normal.

With this thought in mind, our college organised a FDP on ‘Rethinking Marketing in the New Normal’- Indian Context, Global Perspectives’ on 9th of October 2021. The speaker for this FDP was Dr Rajini Suresh, Assistant Professor, AIMIT Beeri, Mangaluru. The program started with a prayer song by Ms Swetha M S. After the prayer Rev. Fr Balaraju SJ introduced the speaker. The speaker spoke about the evolution of marketing in Indian as well as global perspective. She stressed on new age marketing/digital marketing which has seen tremendous growth during and post pandemic.

The program came to an end with the vote of thanks by Ms Jenisia Lasrado. The program was beautifully compered by Ms Princia Fernandes.
