Fresher’s Day

FRESHER’S PARTY in any college is an event which every student awaits from their day of admission. The 30th of October 2021 was a memorable day in the life of every fresher of B.Com and BBA batch 2021-2025 at St. Joseph’s college, Hassan campus. The fresher’s day was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness. The dress code for the fresher’s day was “blue and white”.

The celebration started at sharp 10.a.m. at the college auditorium by our anchor Antony Seamus Gonsalves with the warm welcome of all the dignitaries and the jury present in the function. This was followed by lamp lightening by the dignitaries. Followed by this the welcome speech was given by Moulya and the fresher were formally welcomed into the JOSEPHITES family, the jury and other guest of honours were also introduced.

The event started with a prayer song followed by speech by dignitaries and then by a fashion show and then by a group dance by 2nd and 3rd year students and then for fresher enjoyment there were mini games held and it was ended by the flash mob by all the volunteers of fresher day programme. Once the programme was done the results were out it was the stage achievement for the contestants. The winners of Mr. and Ms. Fresher were Mohammed Faizaan and Tina, respectively.

The prizes were given by the dignitaries to the respective students.

Finally, the vote of thanks was given by Lakshmi Sagar.
