"Coffee with friends is like capturing happiness in a cup"

What goes best with a cup of coffee? "Another Cup" would generally be the answer we could expect from people, but the coordinators of ALMA (Association for Literature, Music and Art) club, Mr Joseph Mathew and Ms Tasmiya Sultana came up with the concept that good ideas start with brainstorming but great ideas start with coffee. The coordinators of the club along with the team members organised "Coffee Hour" - A platform for young poets of SJC Hassan on 20.01.2020.

The idea was simple, Give a cup of coffee to the contestants and in return take a poem from them. As coffee helps us to relax and think better each contestant was given a cup of coffee and all they had to do is use this leisure time to write a poem. The participants were allowed to write a poem either in English, Hindi or Kannada. Around 15 young poets of SJC Hassan took part in this poetry writing competition.
