St Joseph's College Hassan organised an Investiture and Club Inaugural Ceremony on the 10th of July 2018, in the college auditorium. The Chief Guest of the day, Mr Antony Swamy, Principal of Christ The King College, Chennarayapatna inspired the students by quoting "Leadership should be an reflection of the personal life and as leaders we need to strive to maintain the culture and tradition of India. The process of bringing about a change in the nation should begin at one's home." The Superior, Secretary and Treasurer of Hassan Jesuit Educational Society, Rev Fr Joseph D'souza SJ presided over the function. 'Constant hard work will help the students to maintain their responsibility as a leader. As leaders if they are simple, dedicated and unique, they would help the society to grow. Rev Fr Roshan David Periera SJ, the Director of the College, enlightened the students on how a leader should be and what are the essential qualities of a good leader. He then administered the oath. Principal, Mr Dinesh M Gaonkar, the student governor Mr Guru Prasad N N, the convenor of the programme Mr Pradeep Kumar V, The student President Mr Sohan H and the Vice-President Miss Kusuma C V also shared the dais.
