"I cannot say goodbye to those whom I have grown to love, for the memories we have made will last a lifetime, and will never know a goodbye."

In an emotionally surcharged atmosphere inside the Loyola Hall of SJC Hassan, the students, staff and management of St Joseph's College bid adieu to the Students of 2018-2019 batch at a grand farewell function.

The program commenced with a thanksgiving ceremony which was organized to bless the outgoing students as they leave the institute and step forward in their life. Rev Fr Joseph Dsouza, The Secretary of Hassan Jesuit Educational Society, Rev Fr Roshan David Periera, The Director of SJC Hassan, Rev Fr Marcel Pinto, The Director of CMSS Hassan, Rev Fr Maria Raj, The Campus Animator, SJC Hassan, Rev Fr Santhosh D'Souza, The Director of SJC Boarding and Rev Fr James were present for the thanksgiving ceremony.

A representative from each class bought forward an offering and offered it to the altar. Each student was anointed with olive oil and was prayed for by each priest that was present for the ceremony.

After the thanksgiving ceremony the junior organized a cultural program which was loaded with lot of fun, emotions and entertainment. The juniors crowned Mr Aqeeb and Ms J ayashree as Mr and Ms Josephite. The day came to an end with lunch being served for all the staff and students of SJC Hassan.
